Matt Schickel

Mr. Schickel joined EVE in 2002. Prior to joining EVE, Mr. Schickel co-founded MuncipalTrade.com, an online municipal bond trading platform, where he helped raise funds, including a friends and family round as well as venture capital funding from Benchmark Capital and Cyberstarts. From 1998 to 1999, Mr. Schickel was an analyst and associate with First Liberty investment group. While in this capacity, Mr. Schickel sourced and funded a variety of municipal backed projects in the state of Georgia. Mr. Schickel started his career in 1997 overseas as a financial analyst for Bern Banking Group Private in Prague, Czech Republic analyzing private funding opportunities of public municipalities. Mr. Schickel is on the Communication Board of the Transportation Intermediary Association and has written numerous articles for the trade magazine, The Logistics Journal. Mr. Schickel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Florida and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
