J.J. Schickel

Mr. Schickel is a Co-Founder of EVE and is currently serving as CEO of Omni Logistics, LLC. Prior to co-founding EVE, Mr. Schickel served as CFO/COO/CRO of ATC Logistics, Inc., a privately-held conglomerate with numerous businesses serving the automotive industry supply chain. While in this capacity, Mr. Schickel executed a bottom-up operational restructuring that resulted in a 325% increase in operating cash flow. He was a Founder, CFO and board member of AMLI, ATC’s international port processing division, where he completed numerous debt financings, several acquisitions and divestitures and a private equity placement to support the growth of the business. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Schickel worked in the investment banking department of Interstate/Johnson Lane (“IJL”), a publicly-traded broker dealer (currently dba Wells Fargo). During his tenure with IJL, Mr. Schickel represented public and private companies in a wide variety of merger and acquisition and financing transactions. Mr. Schickel has advised clients on more than 110 transactions in the T&L industry, with total value in excess of $5 billion, and has raised over $4 billion in IPO, follow-on and private financings. Mr. Schickel’s current and previous board experience includes AIT Worldwide, AMLI/AMPORTS, BAM Worldwide, Francis Drilling Fluids, Jack Cooper Logistics, MyUS.com, Omni Logistics, Point Dedicated Solutions, PS Logistics and United Vision Logistics. Mr. Schickel is also a National Association of Corporate Directors Fellow and a member of the Audit Committee Institute. Mr. Schickel holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Accounting from the University of Florida.
